streamlofi
the form

One room. One lamp. It never ends.

A lofi room is not a playlist with a picture on top. It is a single illustrated scene that stays with you — the same desk, the same window, the same slow evening — while the music keeps going underneath it.

where it comes from

It began as a picture you could leave running.

Before it had a name, the form was accidental. Someone animated a small student at a desk — head down, pen moving, a cat asleep nearby — set it to slow instrumental music, and let it loop for hours.

What made it work was not the music alone and not the drawing alone. It was the combination: a picture quiet enough to ignore, and warm enough that you didn't want to close the tab. People put it on while studying, coding, reading, falling asleep. It became a place rather than a song.

The shape that emerged is remarkably consistent, and it is what we build:

01

A room, not a stage

One enclosed interior — desk, window, lamp, shelves. The camera never cuts. There is no host, no title card, no presenter. You are simply in the room.

02

Someone quietly occupied

A character with a small, repeatable task: writing, reading, drinking something warm. Seen from three-quarters, turned slightly away. Never looking at you.

03

Sound that sits behind

Instrumental, mid-tempo, low dynamics. Music that supports concentration instead of asking for it. The loop matters more than any single track.

the variants

The form travels. The room changes, the feeling doesn't.

Once the shape was clear, it started mutating — and that is the interesting part. The same quiet structure works in a forest cabin, a spaceship window, a rainy cyberpunk apartment, a blocky voxel world. The furniture changes; the calm does not.

What changes between variants is the world: the light, the weather outside, the objects on the desk, whether the companion is a cat or something stranger. What stays is the composition, the pacing, and the fact that nothing demands your attention.

Different worlds, same grammar

A night study, a floating island, a train compartment, a shrine at dusk. Each is built from the same rules — one focal character, layered depth, warm light against cool outside.

Weather and hour are yours

Rain or clear, dusk or deep night. The time of day is not decoration — it decides the palette, the lamp glow, and how the music should feel.

Music families, not one playlist

Jazzhop, chillhop, piano, ambient, citypop. Room and soundtrack are chosen together, because a rainy window does not want the same music as a bright morning desk.

A companion is part of it

A sleeping cat, a plant, a small familiar. It gives the room a second heartbeat and something for the character's attention to drift toward.

a room you can leave open
what you get

Your own room, at your own address.

Every room is a page, not a video. It has its own link, its own scene, its own music, and it costs you nothing to leave open all day.

You choose the world, the hour, the weather, the art style and the music family. We render the scene, build the loop, and give you a page that plays the moment it loads — no app, no account needed to listen, no ads.

Anyone with the link hears the same room you built. Send it to a friend, put it on a second monitor, or use it as the background of your own stream.

two ways to run it

A radio page, or a live channel.

The same room can be a page people open, or a stream that runs without you. Same scene, same music, two different doors.

fm page · always on

The FM page

A single link that opens full-screen and starts playing. Nothing to configure for the listener. This is the one you keep in a pinned tab.

The scene loops seamlessly, the music rotates through a long queue, and the whole thing is one page — so it loads fast and works on a phone.

live channel · 24/7

The live channel

Take the same room to a live platform. You paste your stream key once; we handle the encoding, the audio mix and keeping it alive through the night.

This is for people who want a channel rather than a link — something that is simply always broadcasting, with the room you designed as its face.

STEP 01

Choose a world

Pick a scene, an hour, a weather, an art style, a character and a companion. Every choice narrows the palette and the mood.

STEP 02

We build the assets

The scene is rendered, the loop video is generated, and a soundtrack is assembled from the music family you chose.

STEP 03

Publish or go live

Get a page at your own link, or connect a live channel and let it run around the clock. Change the room whenever you like.

quiet by default
the principles

Nothing here is trying to keep you.

A lofi room should ask nothing of you. That rules out a lot of things most products do by default.

No autoplay video with sound. No cookie wall in front of the music. No recommended next video. No progress bar begging to be watched. The scene is still, the music is steady, and if you close the tab it is fine.

That restraint is the product. Everything we build has to survive the question: does this make the room quieter, or louder?

Build the room you want to sit in.

Pick a world, choose your music, and get a link that plays forever.
